New TCCI Head Welcomed

The Premier, David Bartlett, today welcomed the appointment of Robert Wallace as the new chief executive of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr Bartlett said it was an important role for Mr Wallace to be heading Tasmania’s peak business group.
 
“Robert brings a wealth of experience to the position.
 
“He has a very good understanding and grasp of the commercial world.
 
“I am sure he will serve his members well.
 
“I look forward to meeting with him when he takes up the job next month and developing policies to help Tasmanian businesses continue to prosper and develop.”
